I’ve always been fascinated by Old Hollywood, and my love for Marilyn Monroe began when I first moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990s.
One of the very first things I did was visit her final resting place, along with the gravesites of many other Hollywood legends. That visit sparked a deeper interest in Marilyn’s life and career, and before long I was watching her films. Some of my favorites are Niagara, How to Marry a Millionaire, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and, of course, her unforgettable appearance in All About Eve.
As time went on, I started reading books about her life and the mystery surrounding her death. The more I learned, the more interested I became in the stories of Old Hollywood and the stars who helped shape it.
Over the years, I’ve visited many places connected to Marilyn, including the home where she spent her final days. I even managed to snap a few photos over the fence. Looking back, it’s amazing how one visit all those years ago led to a lifelong fascination with Marilyn Monroe and the golden age of Hollywood.
