This past week, we spent time pruning the trees around the house. We tackled the fruit trees: apples, apricots, Italian plums, and cherries. We also trimmed the flowers and plants in Rosy’s Garden. This is the earliest we tackled this project, so we are excited to see the results.

Over the next few weeks, a few hours a night, we added the horizontal beams supporting the plywood and the roof. We added sixteen 20-foot beams and 36 individually cut pieces to help trim the boards. Once that was completed, we finished off the roof supports by adding the border beams around the structure.
