 Overnight Tuesday until 5:00 pm, we have received nearly eight inches of fresh snow. It’s the light, fluffy snow that made it pretty easy to clear off the driveway and walkways. We received around two and half inches of snow over night and into the morning. It’s expected to clear out today with another storm coming through with another four inches of the white stuff.
I walked out the front door this morning, and the sky looked beautiful. In a few hours we will have another round of snow with possibly up to five inches.
We still have a lot of snow hanging around the Casa. This snow was from last week’s storm that gave us nine inches. With daily temperatures around freezing, it will be here for a while.
It was a cold and snowy day today; with one day off this week, we decided it was a perfect day to put up the tree. We placed the tree in the front window once again and converted the room to our Christmas area.
This year we headed back to Debi’s house for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed seeing the rest of the extended family.
This is the second year for apples from our tree. Cas went out on Monday and picked some for us to try, and they were fantastic. We cannot wait until next year’s batch that will be amazing.
We woke up this morning with 2.35 inches of fresh fluffy snow. It was also pretty windy, so it kept the trees clear of snow build-up. We are expecting another 2-plus inches of snow this afternoon.
This afternoon we walked around the house to enjoy all the falls colors surrounding us. We love this time of year, from the changing colors to the mirror shining on the lakes.
