Camping tour booked

This morning at exactly 7:00 a.m., I booked our final campground—Arches! Our two-week camping trip in May is officially set. We’ve spent a lot of time figuring out the best loop so we don’t need to backtrack, and we finally landed on a route we’re excited about. We’ll start in Bryce Canyon, then head to the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, and finish in Arches.

We don’t often revisit parks we’ve already been to, but it’s been 9–10 years since our last trip, and the weather wasn’t ideal back then. This time, we’re hoping for perfect conditions. We’re also exploring new places along the way, including the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Monument Valley, and any other amazing spots we discover.

Originally, we planned to go earlier in May, but every campsite was booked. So we pushed the trip back a week to line up with new reservation releases. Each site had to be booked exactly six months in advance at 7:00 a.m.—and thankfully, we managed to snag every single one.

We’re all set and excited for our very first two-week camping adventure!
