We saw a chance for snow in the forecast, but like most forecasts these days, we said it wouldn’t snow. We are both off today, so we planned on playing some pickleball and maybe working in the yard, but that changed when we got up.

We walked downstairs to see a layer of snow around the backyard—around an inch and a half. It was beautiful to see. The area really changes when we have snow, and we could use the water. It’s forecasted to change to rain over the next few hours as the temperature rises to the upper thirties for the day, and rain is predicted for Sunday, so we need to enjoy the snow one last time this winter.
