The day started with a family breakfast at Magy’s with all our favorites, and a few hours later we decided to take a trip over to San Andres Cholula to visit the town. Instead of going to the ruins (which we had been before) we headed to the city center to explore the other churches in the area. As we walked around we could not help but notice how clean and quiet the area was, but of course this was a much smaller town then Puebla.
With the sun setting we hiked up to the Cathedral, which sits on top of the ruins. The views were beautiful up there, and we stayed until the sunset, then headed off for an Italian dinner in town and to celebrate Mom’s birthday (again).
As we walked back to our car, we enjoyed the small town vibe we were getting, and we even talked about how this might make a good home for us in the future.
