Our day of travel started at 2:30 a.m. when we got up and got ready for a very long day. Our first flight was on time and landed us safely in Salt Lake City, where we had time to finally have some breakfast at Panera. We got the order to go as the next flight was boarding soon, and we ate one sandwich before boarding.

Our flight to Mexico City was also on time (a first for us), and we landed at 2:45 pm. We went through Immigration, picked up our bags, and headed to catch the bus to the main Bus Terminal. We arrived in time to catch the 4:15 pm bus to San Martin.

Once in San Martin, we grabbed a cab and joined the family for dinner, after which we stopped at a Pastry shop for some amazing pan. We brought it back to the ranch, where we enjoyed pan and some cafe de oro (my favorite) before going to Mom’s house for the night. We made it to bed at 11:45 p.m. We are exhausted.
