Once the plywood was in place, we were ready to add the metal roof. This took us a few nights and was tricky as we also had to deal with temperatures around 30 degrees and working on a slick roof. Cas came up with the idea of tying himself off to the opposite side as he secured each panel. Thankfully, he was able to complete the roof addition without any issues.
After a couple of days, we secured him again with ropes, and he placed the cap on the top and secured the edges. The last step for this year is to add lights around the patio.
We were both off for Thanksgiving, so we started to add the lights and our first idea )think string lights hanging) It did not work for us; we are much more straight-line. So we removed the lights and rehung them in a straight pattern, and we loved it. Once the lights were up, we returned the furniture to the patio and then off to Thanksgiving dinner.
