Earlier this year we had one of those rainy, lazy days at home, and while we watched the rain fall, Cas said we should add a patio cover over the deck, so we can enjoy the yard all year long. It was a fantastic idea, as we have always loved spending time in the yard, and there is nothing more exciting then watching the rain and snow fall.

Cas started driving around, looking for inspiration for what he wanted to build. The only thing I asked for (if possible) was an open view of the yard. Over the next few months, when we had time, we would stop by various businesses to see examples of what Cas was envisioning. We knew it was going to be big, but how big? That was the question.
