Volunteering at Hoopfest

This weekend, we spent time volunteering at Spokane’s Hoopfest, the largest 3×3 basketball game in the world. It was a lot of fun and a great new location: the Pavillion in Riverside Park, where we sold the event’s merchandise. This year, both of us mainly worked on keeping items stocked on the floor and moving around the shirts when we would sell out. It was a fun time, and we were able to take a little walk around the area and take some photos.

After our shift, we watched a few games played at various levels, from the elite to the 8-year-olds, and even saw Sonic’s legendary Gary Payton at the dunking contest. After about ninety minutes, we were getting pretty hungry, so we decided to leave and have lunch at Omar’s restaurant in the Valley.
