Day 6: back to Puebla

We woke up this morning at 5:30 am and took an Uber to the airport and by 7:00 we were all checked in and ready for our flight. We had talked about going to downtown Mexico City but thought with the luggage it would be too difficult and really draw attention to us.

So we did our bus trip back to Puebla to walk around downtown. The ADO busses are amazing and this one had a telenovela on, and Cas and Mom were watching with great interest.

Magy picked us up at the bus terminal, and we headed back to her house to catch up and have some lunch. After that, we headed downtown to see the area at night, and Cas and I both commented that this was what we expected to see in Moriela with lights and all the festivities.

It was so great to see the area and all the changes after my first visit five years ago. We took photos; Magy wanted to know how to take the kind of photos Cas was taking, so he shared some tips. Mom loved the music, especially the violin version of La Llorona that we heard, so I found it on Apple Music for us and played it again. We also found some Pan, something we had been craving, so we stocked up.

After about an hour and a half, we headed back to the house for some Pan and chit chat, where we asked Magy how to pronounce certain words like Costco (Cosco); she thought the Queen song was “I Want to Be Free,” and we let her know it was I Want To Break Free she was blown away lol.

Mom went to bed first
