We arrived at the gate just in time to board our flight to Salt Lake City. We were delayed around 30 minutes in Spokane so they could de-ice the plane. Once in the air we made a great time and arrived early in SLC.

After another 30-minute delay to get de-iced, we headed to the runway where we waited for our turn to take off. But due to snow, we had to change runways. Finally, we were cleared for takeoff, and as we picked up speed when suddenly we slowed. The Captain came on and explained the breaks were running hot for some odd reason, so we waited on the tarmac for them to cool off. After 90 minutes we are back at a gate to get fuel and get De iced again.

Once at the gate, we were told we would be delayed at least an hour for maintenance to check the brakes, an update came thirty minutes later when the told us to disembark the plane as they needed to replace the brakes.

Delta gave us meal vouchers and off we went for lunch and to wait.
