Day 5: Off to Vancouver

We had breakfast at the trailer and headed off to our next stop on our vacation, Vancouver. We arrived at the docks to a long line of cars and took our spot in lane six. We got out, used the washroom, and walked towards the ferries. After thirty minutes, we were asked to return to our cars, and we boarded the ship.

Once on board, we walked to the front and watched as we sailed away from Victoria. After we were on our way, we checked out the huge dining area for some tea and coffee and enjoyed the trip over. As we got closer to Vancouver, we thought it would be beautiful to see, but it was just a ferry terminal, so we headed back inside until we had to disembark.

After we walked around downtown and saw the area. We could not wait to get on the bikes and we rode around Stanley Park. We took the sea wall trail and made it all the way around and over the Granville Island and back.

Along the Beach Street trail, we were able to get to the entrance of the bridge and took photos. Cas then asked if we could ride across it and I said let’s go. We rode from one side, stopping halfway for pictures, and then rode under the bridge and came back on the other side. The left side seemed a little scarier as there was some wind blowing and one gust could push us over and into the lanes. We made it safely.
