We have been home for a few weeks now, and we have finally found some time to make a video of our trips to Mexico. Our trip to Cuetzalan started on the day after we landed. The drive took about three hours mainly because of the poor roads filled with potholes but we enjoyed the drive.
The town was a little tricky to find, but Google Maps did a pretty good job, but we did have to ask a few times for directions. Once in the town center, we walked around and then looked for a place to stay for the night.
The next morning we headed out for breakfast and explored the town center, then we were off to find some cascades. With very few directions or signs, we drove through the north part of the town and ended up stopping at what we thought could be the entrance. No parking area, and no main gate, is this the right spot? Then a local resident walked up and offered us to park at his place and he would walk us to the falls for a total of $4.
After the cascades, we worked out way back through the town and headed for home, with a few extra stops along the way.
