We both got up around 6:15 this morning, finished packing, had tea and coffee and some pan and drove over to Maru’s to be taken to the bus terminal in San Martin.
We took the 8:50 bus arriving at the bus terminal at 10:20, then took the Metrobus to the Airport, checked out bags, and now time for lunch. We has some time to spare, so we wandered around and eventually found a store with bracelets on display. This lead to some stirling silver earnings and some opal earnings and of course the bracelets all out the door for $168, and a great bargain.
We just arrived home after a full day of traveling. It’s 3:00 am Mexico time. Our flight from Mexico to Minneapolis was right on time and we managed to take little naps while watching a movie. We had a nice flight attendant that was a little sassy. When they asked for our beverage order, can tried Ginger Ale for the first time and enjoyed it. Once we landed in Minneapolis we found out our connecting flight was delayed about 30 minutes.
We headed for the food court only to find most were already closed. We found a Panda Express near our gate and asked what time they closed. She said each one has a different time and then proceeded to chat with a co-worker. Let’s try Wendy’s and we got in line with around six people waiting for their orders.
As we are waiting to place an order, a customer comes to the cashier and says, this is the fifth time I have had to come up here, I am missing my drink. The cashier fires back, well I am the only one up here, and I am taking care of all these people and proceeds to try a justify why. In my head, I am thinking “what a difference from the service we received in Mexico” and “stop talking and give her a damn drink”.
We still had a customer in front of us and she is still complaining about the drink customer, then we step up and she is still talking about it. We ordered and made sure we got our drinks. About ten minutes later we hear her say “oh we need to close this place, can we close now”
Back on the flight we Spokane, we continued to fall asleep and once we landed discovered we had made up the 30-minute delay and were back on time. Let’s head home.
