We slept a bit today and had to walk to Maru’s house to help set up for the big day. We cleaned floors and chopped vegetables for the soup in the afternoon. We took the scooter home to change and freshen up and returned in time to see Mom at her Church mass.

After the Mass we all headed to Maru’s to enjoy lunch, live music and seeing the rest of the family. We had a marimba quartet start off the afternoon and at 5:00 pm the Marachi band came marching in with an explosion of music and singing.

Lots of family and friends were around to show their love for Leo.
