Today it was all about getting ready for the big day. As soon as we got moving it started to rain, we’ll pour than it poured again, both times did not last long but delayed the start of the yard work. Once we got going, Cas worked on the garden and spreading out the soil and I worked on the grass. The group arrived around 1:30 pm with tables and chairs and we decided it was just too windy to put the tents us, so we sent them on their way. We continued to clean the yard and then joined them at 5:30 pm for dinner at Texas Road House. As we left we got a call from Deb that Mom’s car would not start and they tried everything. We turned back and tried everything, that decided to try jumping the battery. We headed to the house, got the truck out and yup, that was the issue.

We did a quick drive bye to Costco to see if they had any last minute flowers (they did not) so home we went. We went to bed by 10pm as we had an early Saturday.
