Her name was Susan and we worked together at Macy’s. Susan was one of those people that cared about everyone and found beauty in everything. She sent me a Facebook request a few years back and asked if it was ok, From that moment on she loved seeing our photos and learning about all of our adventures. When she would visit her daughter around the world, she couldn’t wait to show me the photos that she had taken.

Susan would often find things on her walks and bring them to me with a personal message. She found a rock and would place it in my hand and say stay strong. An old card she found with Mickey Mouse on the cover, she would say, I thought of you. During Christmas deliveries at the store, she would find the loudest and craziest Christmas outfit and say, you should wear this!

This past winter she walked in the office with a piece of broken tile and said“ I found this on the ground, it’s a shape of a heart, I just knew you would be the perfect person to have it”

Susan you are loved and missed and we have a little piece of your love in our garden for all to enjoy.
